Business Busyness

It's been quite a busy week! I made two scarves with some extra bulky yarn I'd bought recently. I have come to the conclusion that I don't like that yarn at all. I hand crocheted them. Yep, sans crochet hook. That's why I don't like it. If my hand turned into a crochet hook, I wouldn't mind at all. Plus, I'd have a greater appreciation for Peter Pan characters.

This week I also finally made a fat quarter skirt...the correct way. My friend and I went out and bought fabric for the skirt months ago. I really like how it turned out!
The tutorial I followed:
Some pictures:
Left: Starting the skirt. Right: I actually pressed seams for the first time!

Left: The black ribbon tie. I also used the ribbon instead of bias tape along the top. Right: You can see both panels with Chinese(?) writing to get an idea for the panel repetition.

The whole outfit, haphazardly put together for the picture. My (not so trusty) camera and sock light diffuser. HA! I look like I'm floating!!

I also updated my Etsy shop today with a variety of scarves. Take a look!

Now, it's time for me to start cutting some patterns!!
