I finished all but the boarder on the blanket...or the Gargantuafghan. It still needs a little trimming on yarn ends here and there, but that is beside the point. This blanket is huge! It is well over 6 feet tall and I would guess about 4.5 feet wide (not stretched out). I'll get exact measurements once it's totally finished.
I can't even explain how great it is to finally have this blanket all in one piece. I started out with 24 rows still needing to be attached just three days ago!! It is a good heavy blanket and very warm. I love the vintage look of it. I got the pattern out of a small crochet magazine, actually, the same magazine I mentioned in [this post.] I think this blanket is going to become a favorite of mine at least until we're well into Spring!
